Yesterday marked our three years of marriage! Our marriage already includes one big move (from Texas to Missouri), purchase of our first house, two rescued dogs from two different states, and brand new jobs. 

While I have been enjoying a lengthy hibernation of binge watching TV shows/anime, cooking, and sleeping in, the same could not be said for Z.  Ever since he returned from his week of vacation (snowboarding and partying up in Vegas), he has not gotten one day of rest. Welcome to medicine, folks. 

He had insisted that we go out for our three year anniversary dinner, but the over-analytical nature in me couldn’t let a man, who just worked a 11-12 hour shift plus being on call for the rest of the night and next morning, go out again simply to have a “nice” dinner. 

So…I brought the nice dinner right at home. I got my hands on trying the bacon-wrapped pork tenderloin for main dish with mashed potatoes and green beans. Since Z is not allowed to drink while on call, we busted out some white grape cocktail juice that we picked from Walmart several days ago.

The doggies also joined the celebration by having some of the said main dish. They probably wonder why we don’t feed these juicy cooked meats for them every day.

Happy three years to us!  We love this little family of ours.
